“Experiencing God” Study
“Experiencing God” Study by Blackaby and King: There will be three time options are available in an effort to create small, intimate groups where you can go deeper into your faith and be free to share and speak your truths in confidence. Times are as follows: Tuesdays from 6:00—7:30 p.m. with Cyndie Humpton; Wednesdays from 6:30—8:00 a.m. with Cyndie; Wednesdays from 12:00—1:30 p.m. with Ginny Tostenson. This still will begin Tuesday, September 16 and ends Wednesday, December 10. There will be a limit of 5 people per group!
Description: There is an enormity of the spiritual hunger in the hearts and lives of God’s people to experience God. Many of God’s people have head knowledge about God but little heart and life experience with God! God is inviting you into an intimate love relationship through which He reveals to YOU His will, His ways, and His work. When you recognize where God is working, you can join Him in what He is doing. Carefully listening to His voice will anchor you in His plan and set you free to live it with boldness and freedom. Then you will experience God doing through you what only He can do.
This study goes for 12 weeks. The cost of the workbook is $21.00, if you are able. Sign Up By Thursday, September 11!!
Proverbs Study - “The Way of Wisdom”
“The Way of Wisdom” - A study on Proverbs: This study will take place on Wednesdays at 6:15 p.m. It will begin on Wednesday, October 1, and will End on Wednesday, November 26. This study goes for 8 weeks. It will be facilitated by Amy Thue and Madi Schneck and will be held in the JAM 45 Room.
Description: The book of Proverbs describes godly wisdom as a path that leads to life and flourishing. It also warns of the folly of worldly wisdom as a path that leads to the grave. Every day we face the choice between the true riches of God’s instruction or the fool’s gold of earthly pleasures and pursuits. How often do we call to mind the wisdom found in the sayings of Proverbs to shed light on the path before us? How relevant do we even believe these ancient words are to our modern world? In The Way of Wisdom - Bible Study Book with Video Access, Bible teachers Jen Wilkin, Ruth Chou Simons, Kelly Minter, Adrienne Camp, Elizabeth Woodson, and Courtney Doctor invite you to place your feet firmly on the path of life revealed in the book of Proverbs. As you consider wisdom principles on everyday topics like words, work, friendship, marriage, parenting, neighborliness, money management, leadership influence, and more, you’ll discover the wisdom of Proverbs as an invitation to steadily walk God’s way in God’s world.
The cost is $25.00 for materials, if you are able. Registration deadline is Friday, September 26!
“Disciple to Faith” Study
“Disciple to Faith” Study By Dale Stephenson: Pastor Thom will facilitate this study on Wednesdays at 6:15 p.m. in the Heritage Room. It will begin on Wednesday, September 17, and will end on Wednesday, November 12.
Description: Jesus discipled people to faith, and so can we. If we want to learn how to live out the Great Commission and disciple people to faith, there’s no one better to teach us than Jesus Himself. In this seven-part series, Dale Stephenson walks us through Jesus’ simple but powerful disciple-making process, showing us every step of the way so that anyone, anywhere, anytime, can go and do the same. There is NO COST for materials for this study. Sign up deadline is Friday, September 12!
“Equipping Intentional Grandparents” Study
“Equipping Intentional Grandparents”: This study will take place on Sundays from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. and goes for 6 weeks. It will be facilitated by Jody Kuper and will be held in the Heritage Room. It will begin on Sunday, November 9, and will end the week of Sunday, December 7.
Description: Being intentional in my grandparenting is driven by a passion: there is nothing I want more than to have my children and my grandchildren in heaven with me, and I am going to pursue that goal until God calls me home. Being intentional means that I have a spiritual purpose that guides my grandparenting, and I align what I do with grandkids around that purpose. Not being intentional means I could be missing many opportunities to impact those precious grandkids that I love so much.
The cost is $9.00 for materials, if you are able. Please sign up by Wednesday, November 5!!
“Lectio Divina” Study on Prayer
“Lectio Divina” Study on Prayer (by Pete Greig): This study goes for 6 weeks (first session in an introduction). Description: Join Pete Greig, founder of 24-7 Prayer, for the Lectio Course, an absorbing and inspiring series that walks you through the practice of Lectio Devina. Learn the rhythms of reading, meditation, prayer, and contemplation as they apply to the Bible. Hear the astonishing stories of men and women who have encountered Jesus through this ancient yet astoundingly relevant spiritual habit. Discover how to hear God in His Word, so you can be equipped to take His love to the world. This study will also incorporate Pete Greig’s book, “How to Hear God—a simple guide for normal people.”

IF:Table Life Groups
An IF:TABLE is the simplest way to cut through the small talk and start building relationships that God wants us to have. The common structure of an IF:Table is 2 hours, 4 questions, 6 people. An IF:Table creates a regular rhythm of connecting with a group of people. It helps you stop defaulting to your small talk, fight past the awkwardness, and find authenticity. It gives opportunities for God to display His love to others through you. It opens your eyes to living a more connected life to all the people in your places. And it’s really fun! Our prayer is that these will turn into life groups with people who you will keep in contact with and connect with for LIFE!
Regular topic ideas for conversations will be provided to you for your group to discuss. There will be encouragement and wisdom for meaningful conversations.
How does it work:
1. Invite—ask some people, no matter where they are in their faith, who might be seeking more depth and authenticity in their relationships. (Which is just about everyone!)
2. Gather—find a “table” to sit around. It could be at a local restaurant, around your coffee table on the floor, the breakroom at your office, or the picnic table at the neighborhood park. Any place will work that is accessible in close proximity to you and the people you invite!
3. Ask Questions—We will provide 4 conversation cards that aim to cut through the small talk. Read one card aloud at a time and make time to go around the table and answer each question.
4. Experience—Enjoy what God does around the table. Do not get caught up in the performance of hosting. The goal is to experience connection with God and each other.
5. What Happens Next—After giving your group an opportunity to experience an IF:Table one time, invite them to continue meeting to finish a conversation series of six weeks.
Sign up TODAY to start an IF:Table. All those who sign up will be the first initiators of these groups. From there, you will go find your own group of people! If you do not feel comfortable doing that, please indicate that you would like help finding a group, and Central will assist you with that! We pray that you will continue these groups for LIFE!
