How to Know God.
To receive Jesus Christ, it starts by understanding that we are all great sinners in need of a great Savior. When we have an understanding and belief of sin and the need for salvation through Jesus Christ, this causes us to repent.
Knowing God doesn’t mean trying to be a good person or even attending church. It means accepting the free gift of forgiveness and eternal life made possible by Jesus’ death and resurrection.
If you would like Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, we invite you to pray the following prayer.
“Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be. Amen.”
