Seasoned Citizens

The Seasoned Citizens of Central is specifically designed to provide ministry for persons living within the more senior years of their lives. The group carries out this ministry in three forms. First, the group meets once a month for a planned gathering that is built around interests of the more senior people. This gathering takes place the second Thursday of each month from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Rolls and coffee are served in addition to hymn singing of gospel songs that are meaningful to those gathered. On special occasions, we have a meal from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon. A devotional is included along with some kind of informational or inspirational program. Occasionally, the group will take a trip out of town to a nearby point of interest. Second, the group provides a bus ministry that enables senior persons who need assistance with transportation with a means of attending Sunday Worship or other church gatherings. Third, the group attempts to provide a caring ministry to seniors who are shut in, ill, or hospitalized. For questions or more information, please contact Lee and Jan Zuver at 605-623-4472.
